Stimulate and Grow Microbial Population and Diversity

EnSoil Algae™ releases signaling molecules that stimulate and grow diversity and populations of microbial populations. Application of EnSoil Algae™ results in increased soil respiration, water extractable carbon, water extractable nitrogen, and soil organic matter, and balanced bacteria/fungi ratios. Increase Plant Nutrient Uptake and Improve Overall Plant Health

Plants do not have the ability to use nitrogen directly from the atmosphere. Microbial bacteria convert nitrogen into usable forms for the plants, a process called nitrogen fixation. EnSoil Algae™ attracts soil microbes to the plant, thus increasing the availability of nutrients (like Nitrogen) for the plants to take up and use. Increase Soil Water Retention Capacity and Plant Tolerance to Stress

EnSoil Algae™ optimizes soil conditions to tolerate stress such as drought or salinity and stimulates plants to release enzymes that help the plant survive changes in conditions. The increased organic soil matter from the work of microbes and plants increases and the soil grows stronger in structure and is able to retain more water. EnSoil Algae™ is OMRI listed in both the United States and Canada for use in organic growing.

What equipment do I need to apply EnSoil Algae™?

Applying EnSoil Algae ™ is as easy as applying any liquid soil additive. You can use any kind of standard irrigation equipment: sprayer, pivot, drip irrigation, or a watering can.

How much EnSoil Algae™ should I apply?

The basic ratio for EnSoil Algae™ is 8 ounces per acre or 1 tsp per 1 gallon of water.

Can EnSoil Algae™ be applied with other inputs in the same tank?

Yes. EnSoil Algae™ can be paired with all other inputs. Pour in the EnSoil Algae™ right before applying to ensure any biological competition occurs in the soil, not in your tank.

Will EnSoil Algae™ help me reduce my usage of other inputs?

Yes. Initially, most growers add EnSoil Algae™ into their existing fertility plan. However, once the results of EnSoil Algae™ treatment are experienced, many growers reduce or eliminate NPK.

How should I store EnSoil Algae™?

Out of direct heat and sunlight. We recommend refrigeration, if possible. Most clients who purchase for larger-scale agricultural purposes, generally order EnSoil Algae™ when they are ready to put it down, so no refrigeration is necessary.
